Now in their 50th year, the Clios honor achievement in advertising. Among the winners for television advertisements were Virgin Atlantic's 25th anniversary ad (quite fun in its retro style), T Mobile's Liverpool Station ad (featured here before), and a set of three ads for Crest "you can say anything with a smile" toothpaste (including a very funny one about head lice).
My favorite, though, was this United Airline advertisement. Mixing heartfelt emotion with George Gershwin is a winner in my book.
I have a feeling this isn't going to be shown in the U.S.

The One Club is a nonprofit organization "for the recognition and promotion of excellence in advertising" and every year conducts award competitions for, among other things, the funniest advertisement. The Daily Beast recently posted eight of the nominees. The Alec Baldwin/Hulu commercial was, without question, my personal favorite but some of the others are far less well known. My favorite of the lesser known:
From Suntory, an advertisement for Goma-Muji Cha, a tea for lowering blood pressure.
ShamWow guy really stretches. Not only moving on to new products, but gettin' urban to boot.
